embarking on a new quest - Daria f/f! [quinn/jane]

I am working on a Daria fanfiction. It's going to be femslash, and the pairing is going to be Quinn and Jane. I just like that pairing for some reason. And I'm not a huge fan of the Daria and Jane pairing. Dunno why. It seems like that one is quite popular, but... it just doesn't click for me. I like a certain dichotomy in my relationships, the clashing dynamic, I suppose. Although that's not always true... after all, I love Mitsuru/Akihiko from Persona 3. Then again, I also love Junpei/Chidori. Eh, whatever. Trying to pigeonhole my tastes is not going to end well, so I'll just stop while I'm ahead.

So yeah! Am I insane or what? I'm doing NaNoWriMo for god's sake. Who the hell do I think I am? -rolls eyes- I guess we'll see... heh.

I know what you mean. I was supposed to be working on my dead nanowrimo project and wrote a short story instead. You know, cause I don't work full time or anything, lol.

lol yeah, I failed to mention the massive amount of mandatory writing I have to do for my five English classes in this post. -sigh- I'm like, oh I'll be fine...

Thankfully I can get stuff done at the last minute, but still. It's a pain in the ass.

Well, I'm an English major, and I finished all the requirements (sciences and such), so all I have to do is English from now on. It's actually not that bad. Three of the classes are survey courses (so like, British and American literature from different eras), and the other two are Creative Writing and Nonfiction Writing.

I have a decent amount of writing to do each week, but actually not as much as you would imagine. It's the reading that piles on, but... I'm a huge procrastinator when it comes to reading. I can usually get by if I just pay enough attention in class and skim the readings.

This is going to definitely bite me in the ass though. I got a 96 on an exam in one class after cramming the night before and not thinking I would do well, so now if I'm too lazy to read something I'm like, humdeedum I'll be fine, and... well lets hope I'm right, heh.
